11) 1 John 5:11-13 - And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
12) Heb. 13:5 - Let your manner of life be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have, for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
13) John 14:21 - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me; and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.

As I Understand It:
|
1) God loved us so much, He sacrificed His only son. We should give Him our lives in love and service to others.
2) Real and abundant life comes only through Christ.
3) We are all sinners.
4) Sin causes eternal death unless we accept God's gift of salvation through Christ.
5) God knew our "worst" before He died but He loved us so much He took our worst upon Himself.
6) Christ is the only way to Heaven.
7) When we receive the salvation of Christ, we are born into the family of God and become His child.
8) We can do nothing to earn our way to Heaven; eternal life is by faith in the grace of God through the sacrifice of Christ.
9) The kingdom of God is ours by acceptance of His son; to be baptized by water is to express by public demonstration our "death, burial, and resurrection" in Christ and our obedience to God - since baptism is a commandment.
10) Christ wants a personal relationship and deep friendship; but we have to let Him in. He will not force us to love Him. What kind of love would that be?
11) You can know that you have eternal life! God promises, if we will open our hearts to Christ and accept Him as the Saviour and King of Kings that He is.
12) Do not crave anything, but be happy with what God has given you. We have Him by our side always!!
13) Do what God commands - to show your love for Him and to release Christ's love and presence into your life and heart.
14) Christ dwells in me, my spirit, and brings honor and glory into my existance and to others through me, by His power and love.
15) Our sins are washed away - our purchase price was His blood and sacrifice.
16) We accept God's promise of eternal life through His Son and our judgment of death as the penalty for our sins is taken away -- "there is therefore now no condemnation"... (Rom 8:1)
17) Christ recreates us in God's image, in our spirits and therefore, when God looks at us after we are saved, He sees Christ, not our old sinful self.
18) Give thanks for all things because God is in control of your life; to grumble or complain is to show our lack of trust in God as navigator of our lives.
19) All things are given us, according to God's perfect Will and what He knows is best for us.
20) Christ teaches us to be fruitful.
21) Abide in Christ and He will make you acceptable in God's sight and a "good and faithful servant."
22) Give all your cares to God; He loves you with a pure, unconditional, unending love! You are His child!
23) Do you love yourself and the world more than you love God? Prove your love for God is greater than anything else by walking in His truths, abiding in His promises, and living under His Will.
24) Christ's Spirit is the power behind (or in) all Christians. Let Christ use you for His honor and glory and for your joy to be fulfilled.
25) Go to a Christ-centered church; fellowship and encourage other Christians. Do not go to be served, but go to serve! (As Christ set the perfect example)
